Tulle comes in all sorts of different capacities.  You have to look at each one to determine whether or not you should get something like 6” tulle spools.  There are other ways to get tulle as well.  A lot of the time 6” tulle spools are more than capable of getting the job done.  It’s all a matter of determining how much tulle you’re going to need to produce the right amount of tutus produced.  Many times it’s hard to figure out how much tulle you need until you start making tutus.  You might be able to estimate how much you need, but odds are you aren’t going to be right on the money.  It’s better to need more tulle than to have too much.  The last thing you would want to do is have more tulle than you know what to do with.  You will have to keep producing tutus, which might be hard to do if you run out of all the other tutu supplies.  Buying too many tutu supplies is a good way to lose money in the long run.

The key to business is to make smart decisions that have the continued success of the business in mind.  Making smart decisions is only half the battle though.  Many businesses have gone under while being helmed by the smartest minds in the business world.  If you make smart decisions, you will be one step closer to making sure your business is at the forefront of your respective industry.  There are a lot of other things that go into making a successful business, but the road to success starts with making smart decisions.  If you start with that, the rest of the pieces are going to fall into place sooner or later.  You shouldn’t measure your success by how much money you make, but making money makes operating a business a whole lot sweeter.  If you lose money in business, you’re not going to be in business very long.  Its one thing to do something you love, but you have to have something else going on that pays the bills.
You don’t have to worry about maximizing profits if you’re making tutus for people you love out of the comfort of your own home.  Making your own tutus might cost a lot less than buying tutus from the store, but you shouldn’t look at the cost when you’re trying to get a tutu that is satisfactory.  Getting the best tutu should be of the highest priority in this situation, whether it means spending a lot of money on blue tulle or some other color of tulle.  The last thing you would want is to limit your options because you couldn’t afford something.  Of course, you need to buy tutu supplies that don’t prevent you from being able to pay for other expenses.  Tutu making is a hobby, not something that should make your descent into bankruptcy much quicker and tragic.  If it gets to the point where tutu making is a lot less practical, you need to choose another hobby altogether.
